Scribble - Original Mixed Media on Canvas, 2021
Scribble was born around the same time as Composition No. 2, when I was learning how to trust abstraction.
The title comes from the small notebook page embedded in the corner. A private note that became part of the painting.
There is a lot of white space here. It feels intentional. The surface carries layers of pale paint, almost architectural in structure, interrupted by fluid blue forms that feel like ink spreading through water.
It is restrained, thoughtful, slightly vulnerable.
For someone who appreciates subtlety and quiet tension.
