“Modern goddesses” is a growing series of six illustrations focused on the female body. Inspired by the classic poses and slightly sulky faces portrayed numerous times through art history, I’ve re-created them using my own visual language- combined expressive, primitive forms with crisp computer-made lines to get the minimalist, modern-ancient effect.While celebrating the beauty of the female form, I attempted to create the aesthetic of a contemporary tribe that emphasizes the values of sisterhood and self-love
