I’m a Polish artist based in Berlin.
I picked up a pencil as a kid and never really put it down — though along the way I wandered through illustration, design, and a few unexpected detours. These days I’m back in the studio, focusing on painting and letting my work evolve without a fixed plan.
Coming dashing back from a stint as an illustrator, I'd built a reputation for bold, empowering portraits of women and working with magazines and cultural institutions. But the pandemic led me to pick up painting, experimenting with abstract and mixed-media on canvas. Now, after a few years away, I'm rediscovering my rhythm and the world of colour. Tomorrow, or the next day, might be different.
Based in a small south-west Berlin studio, I draw inspiration from women, the everyday lives they live, things that society considers as imperfections, and the quiet humour found in the humdrum of life. Sharing my home with a rambunctious, little dog, Kromka, who thinks every day is an adventure.
This website is a mix of studio, archive and shop, you can look at my available work, read about the goings-on here and just have a poke around.
